Immigration Services offers free civil immigration legal advice and representation. We help Oklahomans struggling with immigration legal matters to find the free help and information they need.

Who can Immigration Services help?
  • Lawful, permanent residents
  • Asylees
  • Refugees
  • Persons who have been granted asylum
  • Persons who have been granted withholding of deportation/removal
  • Victims of extreme cruelty, battery, sexual assault, and other crimes
  • Victims of severe forms of trafficking
  • Special agricultural workers
  • Temporary workers (H-2A/H-2B)
  • Conditional entrants (prior to 1980)

 

U Visa: For victims of certain crimes, or for parents of a child who was a victim

T Visa: For victims of human trafficking

VAWA (Violence Against Women Act): petitions for abused spouses, parents, and children of a US Citizen and abused spouses and children of Lawful Permanent Residents

Derivative applications: For U visas, T visas, and VAWA petitions.

Form I-360 SIJS (Special Immigrant Juveniles): Foreign national children under 18 who have suffered abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment by their parents

Form I-765: Application for Employment Authorization for U visas, T visas, VAWA, SIJS, Refugees, Asylees, those granted Withholding of deportation

Form I-485: Application for Adjustment of Status for U visas, T visas, VAWA, SIJ, Refugees, and Asylees. Adjustment of status refers to becoming a Legal Permanent Resident

Form I-751: Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence for persons who obtained lawful permanent residence (green card) through marriage and were abused by their spouse, or their spouse has died, or certain other circumstances

Form I-90: Replacement or renewal of permanent resident card (green card)

Form N400: Application for naturalization—the process whereby a lawful permanent resident becomes a U.S. citizen

Form N600: Application for certificate of citizenship for children of parents who naturalized or children who acquired citizenship from their parents but whose birth was not registered abroad as a U.S. citizen

Form N565: Replacement of naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship

Appeals: To the Administrative Appeals Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, for any of the above
